Juliet graduated from Bristol University with an honours degree in Botany in 1984.

She worked for a while in botanical/microbiological research followed by time spent as a researcher and writer in the gardening media. In 2004 after designing and project managing a garden for a local school, she retrained as a Garden Designer at the world renowned English Gardening School at Chelsea Physic Garden and subsequently went on to gain a 1st class honours degree in Garden Design from Sparsholt College in Hampshire.

She has been part of the design and implementation of two gardens at Chelsea Flower Show and also reached the quarter finals of Channel 4’s Great Garden Challenge.

While she designs in many different styles, her interest is in creating gardens that minimise their impact on the environment and can survive and flourish in our changing climate.

Juliet uses both hand drawn and computer aided design to allow her to communicate her ideas effectively to client, contractor, and architect.
